Hi, I’m Saskia.

Welcome to my page! Thanks for making it this far and wanting to know more about me and what it is all about that I am slowly and ever so gently trying to create.

First a little about me. I am first and foremost an explorer of my own body and life. I have a background in yoga & meditation, dance, massage and the nervous system and it allows me to bring slowness, joy and a spark of geekie facts into my sessions.

My longing is to create brave spaces that slow down and allows to learn how to listen and follow the impulses of authenticity inside ones own body. To explore the life that moves already through our bodies leading to a happier and more fulfilling life.

My Approach

It all began with a feeling deep inside of me. That somehow I wanted the world to stop, to slow down so that I could catch up with it all. The mails, the news and most of all my feelings and the connections with other people. Little did I know that the slowing down that I demanded outside of me was actually a longing to slow down inside of me. I needed slowness to feel it all. I was overwhelmed so many times and pushed through that feeling. Later I learned I was in functional freeze. From the outside everything looked fine but from the inside it felt like a hurricane pulling me from one side of the emotional spectrum to the other. It took time, discipline to things that didn’t work, more pushing and pulling, workshops and guides that gave me little bits and pieces but no fulfilling long term results until I finally found a 12 step program called ACA, an intimacy coach, the nervous system and slowing down so deliciously that I softly and gently started to find more and more home within myself. In my own pace!

Bodywork

I believe gentle holding, moving and being allows the body to support itself in the unraveling that relaxation and ultimately healing can be. So my bodywork is a mix of thai massage movements, cranio sacral and reiki. Sometimes it is more energetic. Sometimes it is more movement but always with whatever is alive in that moment. A holding so you can come home to your body with more safety.

Yoga & Meditation

There are many different kinds of yoga suitable for every person and every style. In the recent years my practice and what I share has become more subtle. Slowing down to feel more. I started studying and practicing with Mia Lehndahl and have become a somatic meditation teacher and am currently on my path to become a body love yoga( tantra) teacher. Coming from learning through pushing towards an outcome and planning everything from the mind to a learning from pleasure and listening to the inner voice.
